Veronica Marie "Dolly" Ferris, 100, of Marysville, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

She was born February 17, 1917 in Mankato, Minnesota, to the late John and Fannie Ferris.

Dolly was employed with Chrysler and then Prestolite Wire Company and also worked at her brother Tom's store. She was a charter member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and a member of the Rosary Altar Society, the League of Catholic Women and the First Friday Club.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Barbara (Daniel) Champion, Leo (Dolly) Ramia, Gloria Hudson, Anita Nammo and John (Gayle) Ferris; and several great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Thomas and George Ferris; four sisters, Nazira Ferris, Pauline Ramia, Helen Ferris and Mary Ferris; and two nephews, Francis Ramia Jr. and Larry Ramia.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A scripture service will follow at 4 p.m.

Miss Ferris will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, St. Christopher Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
