Twyla Joy Wedge, 82, of Marysville, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016.

She was born November 4, 1933 in Brown City to the late Ivan and Grace Payne. She married Kenneth Wedge on July 4, 1959 in Port Huron.

Mrs. Wedge was a member of Marysville United Methodist Church and the church quilting group. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, baking, sewing, quilting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth; five children, David (Marie) Wedge, Paul Wedge, Lynne (Jack) Chechlowski, Amy Wedge and Cara (Kevin) Ellsworth; six grandchildren, Justin and Ryan Chechlowski, Matthew Wedge, Paul Wedge II and Tori and Gabe Ellsworth; a sister, June (Lawrence) Currel; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lyle and Dale Payne.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Chapman will officiate.
