Rita Lorraine Drouillard, 93, of Marysville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 30, 2016.

She was born April 12, 1923 in Windsor, Ontario to the late Noah and Rose Rocheleau. She married Edmund J. Drouillard on August 16, 1941 in Windsor, Ontario. He died April 17, 2002.

Rita will be remembered as a strong woman of faith. She was a long time member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards with anyone who would play, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ruth Ann (Len) Koelzer, Mary (Chet) Skrzypek, Theresa (Rod) Glinisty, Leo (Julie) Drouillard, Catherin (Doug) Lauzon, Dorothy (Cary) Seacat, David (Theresa) Drouillard and Ann Marie (Steve) Arendt; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edmund (Sandra) Drouillard; many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Emily (Gerald) Parent and Nina Ducedre. She was preceded in death by her sons, Joseph and Edmund Drouillard, a grandson, Jon Glinisty, four sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 2-9 PM Friday in Marysville Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 7:30 PM.

Rita will lie in state from 10:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend James F. Arwady will officiate. Rite of Committal will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
