Payton Aydin Andrew Byers, 16, of Marysville, left this life too soon, Friday, June 9, 2017.

He was born August 29, 2000 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Payton attended Marysville High School where he loved being a part of the Quiz Bowl and Marysville Robotic's Teams and participating in Science Olympiad. He also loved music, reading and playing Dungeons and Dragons. He was employed with KFC in Marysville.

He is survived by his parents, Lucy Friedley and Marc Byers; siblings, Sylis and Kendyl; grandparents, Robin Friedley, Judy (Navarro) McComber-Hayes, Ric Byers and Erin Bledsoe; great grandparents, Marie Friedley, Laura Byers and Betty (Leo) McComber; and aunts and uncles, Amber Graham, Robin E. Friedley, Mead Byers and Mike (Heather) Byers; and many close friends.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in the Marysville Funeral Home with a service of remembrance to follow at 7:00 pm.

Memorials may be made to his mother, Lucy, to establish a fund for a local teen suicide prevention program.
