Paul James McKinley, 55, of Marysville, and formerly of Arizona, died Thursday, February 16, 2017.

He was born July 29, 1961 to James and the late Shirley McKinley. He married Sharon Boase on December 8, 1984 in Yuma, Arizona.

Paul retired as an Assistant Chief Patrol Agent, U.S. Border Patrol, Detroit Sector after nearly 30 years of service. He was also a member of the U.S. Border Patrol Competitive Pistol Team. After retirement, Paul continued to enjoy competitive shooting sports as well as traveling with Sharon.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon; sons, Sean & Kyle McKinley; father, James McKinley; a sister, Sandra McKinley; a brother, William (Leslie) McKinley; a sister-in-law, Debbie (David) Godley; nephews, Liam and Connor McKinley, Phillip and Matthew Godley; and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
