Louise L. Washburn, 92, of Fort Gratiot Township, was Promoted to Glory Sunday, March 19, 2017.

She was born July 22, 1924 in Port Huron to the late William and Wilda Little. She married Leroy S. Washburn on December 13, 1946 in Port Huron. He died January 11, 2017.

Louise was employed as a bookkeeper with Littite Foundry until her retirement. She was an active member of the Salvation Army, Golden Agers and Home League. She also taught Sunday School for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Brett) May; seven grandchildren, Timothy and Patrick Washburn, Timothy May, Garrett (Katey) Grindle, Ashley (Jason) Kish, Taylor Grindle and Elliott May; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Esther Washburn-Smith; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Washburn.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, March 25, 2017 in The Salvation Army, Port Huron Citadel with visitation from 3:30 pm. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot.
