Janie Ann Miller, 51, went to be with her Lord Thursday, November 23, 2017. She courageously fought breast cancer since 2013.

She was born August 11, 1966 in Brazil, Indiana, to the late Gerald and Margaret Evans. She graduated as a valedictorian from Brazil High School in 1984 and summa cum laude from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana, with a degree in Business Administration in 1988. She married her loving husband, Randy Miller, on August 14, 1999 at Central Christian Church in Terre Haute.

Janie was a very warm-hearted and caring person who had been happily employed as a teller at Advia Credit Union, Port Huron, since 2007. She enjoyed playing the trumpet, "channel surfing," and playing pinball and she was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Randy; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Kristy Evans of Cincinnati; three nieces, Joanie (Judd) Gibbs of Dayton, Jessica (Brian) Evans and Jenna Evans of Cincinnati; two nephews, Jeremy (Sarah) Evans and Justin Evans; and five great-nieces and nephews, Cavan, Bryn, Liam, Dustin and Sparrow; and her beloved cat, Midnight. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1986 and her father in 1997.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark Huff will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Faith Lutheran Church, Macomb County Animal Shelter or to the family.
