Gerald Martin Chrivia, 73, of Kimball Township, died Monday, December 11, 2017.

He was born December 14, 1943 in Rose City to the late Joel and Gladys Chrivia. He married Ruth Kaufman on October 6, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Chrivia was a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, race cars, woodworking and going to casinos and the family cabin in St. Helen.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Dwayne (Della) Chrivia, Scott Chrivia, Patrick (Michelle) Chrivia, April (Brandon) Doherty, Kenneth Kaufman and Leann (Jim) Roberts; 21 grandchildren, including three special grandchildren, Madison, Jonathon and Buchanon Roberts; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Christine (Ford) Colgan; a brother, Doug Chrivia; a brother-in-law, Marty Ryan; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Chrivia; a sister, Karen Ryan; and his best friend, Bill Frantz.
