Francis Paul "Frank" Christopher, 90, of Marysville, died Sunday, December 31, 2017.

He was born December 15, 1927 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Margaret Christopher. He married Mary Patricia Mallan on May 26, 1951 in Assumption Grotto Church in Detroit. She died August 18, 2017.

Mr. Christopher was a licensed contractor and taught at Warren Community College and Skill Center, retiring in January 1989. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Marysville Council #9526, Marysville American Legion Post 449, and the Minesweepers Association.

He is survived by four children, Daniel C. Christopher (Sandi Craft), Ann M. (John) Washburn, Paul M. Christopher and David F. (Beth) Christopher; and one grandson, Ryan M. Washburn. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher Catholic Church, Sanctuary at Mercy Village, or the American Cancer Society.
