Dorothy C. O'Neill, 96, of Marysville, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

She was born June 9, 1921 in St. Clair to the late Charles and Mary Englert. She married Louis V. O'Neill on February 7, 1941 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1994.

Dorothy worked in the laboratory at Port Huron Paper Company until her retirement. She loved bowling, Bingo, boating and spending time outdoors.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Diane) O'Neill, Patricia (Frank) Wisniewski, Gloria Hansen and Lucinda (Matt Huber) Porrett; nine grandchildren, Darci (Randy) Clark, Sara (Stan) Prapotnik, Billy (Michelle) Tack, Tracy (Glenn Dail) Raymond, Larry (Sherri Liverance) Tack, James (Lisa) Hansen, Jennifer (Tyler) Halsell, Gary (Renata) Porrett Jr. and Heather Porrett; 19 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Booth; two sisters-in-law, Isabelle Englert and Joan Reid; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Charles and Albert Englert, Jane Louks, Margaret (Delbert) Shaw, Annette (Carl) Vertican and Erma (Dale) Kasemeyer; and brother-in-law, Harold "Jack" Booth.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in the Marysville Funeral Home. David Vertican, Dorothy's nephew, will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.

Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society or any charity.
