Ascencion Abitua "Nono" Castillo Sr., 90, of Port Huron, died Friday, March 17, 2017.

He was born August 15, 1926 in Victoria, Texas to the late Adrian and Esequelia Castillo.

Ascencion worked for Littite Foundry until his retirement. He enjoyed watching baseball and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers.

He is survived by his children, Ascension A. Castillo, Paublo Castillo, Maria Linda (Alonso Garcia) Castillo, Erasmo Castillo, Mary Lou Weber, Martha (David) Quinn, Jessie (Pamela) Castillo, Jose (Constance) Castillo, Chris Castillo, Norma (Anthony) Pakulski and Debbie (Kevin) Miller; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Gabrial (Chavelia) Castillo, and Alberto Castillo; sister, Manuelia (Manuel) Garcia; and sister-in-law, Maria Castillo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Raquel; sons, Domingo and Rudy Castillo; daughter, Maria Blanca; and brothers, Jesus J.A. Castillo, Presentacion Castillo and Nemecio Castillo; and sister-in-law, Alicia Rodriquez.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
